Live8 Philly wrap up: A lame ending to an amazing day...
In what was the most anticlimatic end to an epic day ever, Richard Gere introduced Stevie Wonder who did a respectable job. However, when Paula Abdul dancing backstage is the highlight of the closing number you know you got a problem. What about doing an updated We are the world? or The times they are a changin' with the entire lineup? Instead we got a local concert promoter congratulating us for doing a good job (thanks). Oh well, at least we can go watch the Pink Floyd on AOLMusic.com. :-)
1. I must agree - watched the US highlights after our wall to wall coverage of Hyde Park finished and although Stevie is great the end was a real let down.
