Stevie Wonder opened with Masterblaster (Jammin') and was joined by Rob Thomas on Higher Ground, his cover of an old Red Hot Chili Peppers song. Then he did two slow songs I didn't know. I'm told one of them is popular at weddings. Then he did Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I'm Yours and basically let the singer for Maroon 5 take over the vocals. It was better than anything Maroon 5 did and Maroon 5's set was great.
On the next song we were sure we heard Stevie and his backup band dropping the f-bomb about 50 times. Found out later on that the song was called "What The Fuss". Minor disappointment there.
He ended the set with Superstition. He was not joined by Will Smith. He was not joined by Destiny's Child. He did not play harmonica. The only interesting thing I can mention is that Paula Abdul spent the last few songs dancing on stage right. When I saw her there I was really hoping that the grand finale might be Paula Abdul and MC Scat Cat reuniting for Opposites Attract, but that was it. End of show. Good night, Philly.

21. Man, some of you people may know a thing or two about classic rock but that doesn't mean your not stupid! You people do not understand the meaning of the term TONGUE-IN-CHEEK? The author of the piece tried to clarify that he was not being serious when he said Stevie Wonder did a cover of the Red Hot Chilli Pepper song "Higher Ground". He went on to provided further example to his attempt at wit to suggest that Wonder covered S.R.V's Supersticious. Do you not understand that he is only kidding? Sure at first I was unsure whether he was serious or not, but after someone comes out and clarifies that the comment was Tongue-in-cheek one would think that you people would get the picture!
WOW.
Bye the way J, you are a poster child for why the world hates the USA. Self-centered BTCH, If you took the time to get an education about some of the world outside of the United States you would understand that there can be no parallels drawn between the state of affairs in North America and that in Africa where thousands of people die every day from diseases that have been erradicated in the developed world for decades.
Oh yeah, and just so you know, Africa is not a country!
